Mary O'Hara-Devereaux, Ph.D, is President of the Center for the Future of China and Professor at Peking University Mary is co-founded the Center for the Future of China at Peking University (PKU) with Professor Ma Rong while she was a Director at Institute for the Future in Silicon Valley. At IFTF, she was a leader of the Emerging Technology Outlook Program with Robert Mittman. Mary is a long term forecaster and strategist specializing in social and technological developments and China's emerging centers of innovation. Mary has worked extensively throughout the world in both advanced and emerging economies in both the private and public sector including policy analysis. She is the author of several books, including Global Work: Bridging Distance, Culture and Time and is a sought-after executive speaker. She holds degrees from University of Michigan, University of California and the Fielding Institute.
