For her 93rd birthday (in August 2013), Maureen O’Hara will celebrate with a cause ... The Irish queen of the silver screen returned to the U.S. in late 2012 to live near her grandson Conor FitzSimmons and his family in Boise, Idaho after rumors circulated that she had been a victim of elder abuse by her former executive assistant ... O’Hara has kept a full and meaningful schedule throughout the past few months – most recently visiting the John Wayne Birthplace Museum in Winterset, Iowa – and her upcoming birthday on August 17 will be no exception: O’Hara will use the occasion as a platform to raise funds for the Justice Alliance for Vulnerable Adults (JAVA), a local elder abuse foundation.
