DR. R. H. O'Hara (1838-1878, or later) was born in Owen County, Kentucky and was a son of James, a native of Ireland, and Lucy (Hardy) O'Hara.

John 'Jay' O'Hara (died December 1997) was a prosecutor, trial lawyer, a power in the Kenton County Democratic Party, and a justice of the Kentucky Supreme Court.

Theodore O'Hara was born in Danville, Kentucky, 11 February, 1822 and died in Guerryton, Alabama, 6 June, 1867. He was the son of Kane O'Hara, and Irish political exile, who became a prominent educator in Kentucky; Theodore O'Hara became major and staff-officer during the Mexican war and the American Civil War.

Kieran D. O'Hara is Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies at the Department of Geological Sciences, University of Kentucky. Professor O'Hara's research is in the area of structural petrology, and involves the application of geochemical principles to structural problems.
