A new museum exhibit of Margaret Mitchell's days as a journalist is set to open Wednesday -- what would have been the late author's 100th birthday... The exhibit at the Margaret Mitchell House & Museum in Atlanta will be a re-creation of Mitchell's office at The Atlanta Journal and include the actual desk where she worked, as well as her articles and photographs...Also, two new books are scheduled for release this week -- "Before Scarlett: Girlhood Writings of Margaret Mitchell" and "Margaret Mitchell, Reporter." Mitchell, the author of "Gone With the Wind," was born in Atlanta on November 8, 1900. She was killed in 1949 when she was hit by a car while crossing Peachtree Street.
