New World Music Recording Artist Helen O'Hara Helen began to learn the violin from the age of nine. In 1982 she graduated from the Birmingham (England) Conservatoire with a Distinction in Performing Studies and joined Dexys Midnight Runners recording many songs including "Come on Eileen" from the album "Too Rye Ay". Since 1987 Helen has pursued a solo career working with many artists such as Tanita Takaram and Graham Parker. She also played and co wrote the critically acclaimed "Don't Stand Me Down" album and the hit theme "Because of You" from the BBC Television series "Brush Strokes".
