Robert O’Hara A Theatre.com Original News Story about the Theatre projects of Robert O'Hara (Updated: Wednesday, May 12, 1999): A rising new voice in the American theatre is directing his own play Off-Off-Broadway this spring....O'Hara impressed New York audiences with his 1996 production of Insurrection: Holding History which he staged at the New York Shakespeare Festival/Joseph Papp Public Theatre. The play has since been performed at San Francisco’s American Conservatory Theatre, Los Angeles’ Mark Taper Forum, and recently in New Zealand.
