James O'Hara was an ingenious businessman, Revolutionary soldier, 6th Quartermaster General (April 1792-May 1796), and one of the staff officers who assisted General Anthony Wayne in winning the first major victory of the struggling American republic in the uncertain days following the Revolution.
James Grant O'Hara (1925-1989) was Sergeant, United States Army, and Member of Congress for Michigan (1959-1977).
Theodore O'Hara was born in Danville, Kentucky, 11 February, 1822 and died in Guerryton, Alabama, 6 June, 1867. He was the son of Kane O'Hara, and Irish political exile, who became a prominent educator in Kentucky; Theodore O'Hara became major and staff-officer during the Mexican war and the American Civil War.
