Irish American Hall Of Fame: Maureen O'Hara Maureen is retired and lives happily. Maureens home is in St. Croix, Virgin Islands, she also spends time in New York, Los Angeles and Ireland.

Maureen O'Hara has her primary residence in the Virgin Islands. After starring in nearly 60 movies, O'Hara moved to St. Croix with her third husband, aviation pioneer Charles F. Blair. She became the first woman to run a U.S. airline when she took over Blair's Antilles Airboats after his death in 1978. Los Angeles Times Report.

At the time of his death in a 1978 plane crash, he was the owner-operator of Antilles Air Boats Company in the Virgin Islands. Despite enjoying the private life on the island of St. Croix, O'Hara was lured back to work to play John Candy's mother in the 1991 John Hughes comedy "Only the Lonely".
