Thomas O'Hara and Bullying in public schools I'm glad to see that the Point Pleasant Beach Board of Education decided to keep Thomas O'Hara as principal of the G. Harold Antrim School ... Chief O’Hara to be Named Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security After the accidental firing of Department of Homeland Security Deputy Secretary Michael P. Jackson, who is not, as the White House learned yesterday, the same person as musician Michael Jackson, President Bush has announced that he is considering former Gotham City police chief O’Hara for the post ... O’Hara is seen by most as a solid choice for the post, but some question his record. He has not served in decades, and many claim that his success was the result of the efforts of Batman, and, to a lesser degree, Commissioner Gordon. Allegations of incompetence and gullibility have surfaced, and some say O’Hara is a fool who is incapable of catching criminals on his own ... Perhaps the most serious allegation, while not yet directed at O’Hara himself, is that his brother Michael has maintained connections with the Irish Republican Army since the late 1960’s. Michael claims he has been confused with another “Michael O’Hara”, but the latest evidence seems to indicate that the allegations are true. If this is the case, it could prove a serious stumbling block to former Chief O’Hara’s appointment as Deputy Secretary, although he himself does not seem to have any connections with known terrorist organizations. Movies: Rufus Sewell, David O'Hara fire up Tristan & Isolde film Kevin Reynolds’ film is unlikely to unseat Wagner from its perch, but it’s not a bad take, striving in spots for a measure of the lyricism of the best versions of the tale ... It’s a good thing they have pros like Sewell and David O’Hara as the treacherous Irish king to put a bit of fire in the margins around the love story. Metro, Toronto, Canada, January 13, 2006.

Movie Review: Tristan & Isolde (2006) The story features James Franco (“Spider-Man,” “Deuces Wild”) as Tristan while his counterpart, Isolde, is performed by the less-known Sophia Myles (“Mansfield Park”). They look the part, or at least could fit into an Elizabethan stage production of “Rome and Julet,” though they’re performing in a 12th century Celtic legend here. England was no more a real nation that is today’s Iraq, ruled by warlords like today’s Afghanistan. The Irish King Donnchadh (David Patrick O’Hara) keeps the English warlords in line by dividing them against one another. Lord Marke (Rufus Sewell) seeks to unite the English tribes, a decent person who adopts young Tristan and keeps him safe from the Irish, though in one battle he is to lose his right hand making him unfit for future combat.
