O’Hara, of Silverdale, was diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in 1995. I just hope he doesn't have to defend his every move over the coming school year. That might result in his failure to do his job. While the school should take part in nipping bullying in the bud, it's the parents of these bullies who need to face up to their responsibilities in their home. Those small, gray satellite TV dishes on roofs and apartment balconies that snatch digitally encoded signals from a satellite -- he was largely responsible for their existence and for shaking up the cable TV industry. O'Hara led the Thomson Consumer Electronics team that developed those 18-inch dishes and the digital receiver for RCA's DirecTV Digital Satellite System. Introduced in 1994 in Jacksonville, Miss., to see how consumers would respond, it reigned as the most successful consumer electronics product in history until DVD players came along. Mr. O'Hara was 46 when he died of cancer Thursday at St. Vincent Hospital. Mr. O'Hara and his wife, Diane, attended the same grade school and high school in New Jersey but first dated in Mr. O'Hara's senior year at Montclair (N.J.) State University in 1982. Beguiling Catherine O'Hara: New DVD — Although this latest Christopher Guest ensemble comedy was not nominated for any Oscars this year, it should have been. Saying goodbye to Thornbury teen: The funeral service for 17 year old Michael O'Hara was held Friday — The town of the Blue Mountains has said goodbye to the fifth and final teenager killed after a horrific car crash near Meaford last Friday. The USU junior majoring in elementary education and deaf education is almost deaf herself. She said she finds it hard to be competitive in her classes when she doesn't have an interpreter and notetaker and often feels isolated from her classmates. This is one of the reasons she and 11 other students and former students filed a lawsuit against USU for discrimination. Audrey Federer O'Hara, 80, and her husband, William O'Hara, 83, die within one day of each other — The Bellevue couple, married for 57 years, died within one day of each other last week. Audrey O'Hara died Sept. 13 at Carmel Manor Nursing Home, where she and her husband resided. William O'Hara had been put into St. Elizabeth Hospice a week earlier. He died there a day after his wife, on Sept. 14. The couple's son, Tim O'Hara, said that during the Depression, his father moved from Cincinnati to Bellevue. 1981 Hunger Striker Patsy O’Hara's son attacks ‘event’ — The family of Patsy O’Hara, one of the Long Kesh hunger strikers who died in 1981, have accused Sinn Fein of exploiting his death for political gain in Londonderry. A commemoration planned for Derry City Guildhall next Sunday, which is being organised by Sinn Fein activists, was dubbed “hypocrisy” and an attempt at “airbrushing history” by O’Hara’s son, Tony. 50 Firefighters Battle O'Hara Township Blaze — Investigators are working to find out what sparked a raging fire in O'Hara Township on Tuesday. Lord Marke (Rufus Sewell) seeks to unite the English tribes, a decent person who adopts young Tristan and keeps him safe from the Irish, though in one battle he is to lose his right hand making him unfit for future combat.
